One of the most effective ways to build capability is to coach teams through the work that needs to be done, using a particular approach or model in the process. The main objective is to solve the business need on the table, but an obvious additional benefit is that teams learn to use a repeatable model for similar scenarios in the future.
We use our expertise in workshop design and facilitation, along with best practice approaches and tools, to guide teams through a structured approach to evaluate an issue or opportunity, generate potential strategies and ideas, and make decisions on the right course of action. We work in partnership to design the workshop, and then to provide the guidance, challenge and refinement during and afterwards, to ensure the insights, decisions and implications are properly developed and captured.
Design the workshop approach based on the particular needs and objectives, including any process or tools needed.
Run the workshop, guiding and challenging the team throughout to get to the right conclusions.
Write up the workshop outputs, refine, sharpen and prepare for onward implementation.
We have catalyst workshop experience across a range of marketing disciplines:
We worked with this leading vascular treatment clinic’s cross-functional leaders to devise a patient engagement strategy, identifying patient insights, goals, content themes and touchpoints along the patient journey.
What kinds of challenges are these workshops best suited for?
They're ideal for bringing teams together for some focused time to solve a particular need or challenge in a structured way. Typically this will either be around landing brand strategies, ideas and plans, or working on an internal opportunity, such as talent strategy, process integration or capability strategy.
Do you provide the tools and frameworks for the workshop?
We can provide thinking and planning frameworks along with different facilitation approaches tailored to the specific context. Equally, where there are existing tools and frameworks within the business, these should be built into the workshop.
Can you adapt the workshop format for virtual or hybrid teams?
Absolutely. We design and facilitate workshops for in-person, remote, or hybrid teams, often using virtual collaboration tools, such as Miro, for teams to share, explore and build solutions together.
